Our school is very excited to be offering a wide variety of school sports opportunities to students through School Sport Nova Scotia, as well as other extracurricular activities.
SAERC encourages participation in school sports and extracurricular activities as these activities help students develop leadership qualities through their involvement. With participation in activities and programs students learn self-discipline, develop self-confidence and acquire a solid understanding of the importance of cooperation and teamwork in attaining goals. Additionally, students develop a sense of pride and school culture by participating in such activities.
School sports and extracurricular activities provide support for student well-being, achievement and success.
If you are interested in coaching or volunteering with our extracurricular programs we encourage you to contact the main office. All volunteers are required to have a vulnerable sector check and a child abuse register check, as well as filling out J-forms for travel in the office. You can contact the office at 902-625-1929.
